The Hunger Games (Book Review)

"HAPPY HUNGER GAMES! AND MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR!" In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol  surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the games. But Katniss has been close to dead before-and survival, for her. The giver

The giver by Lois Lowry I would rate this book a 8 out of 10 Here is my reasoning I enjoyed this book but I feel it could maybe have more information about some other characters in the beginning you heard a lot about other characters. After everyone got their “Job” you only hear about Jonas, The giver and Jonas’s family. I the beginning you heard about his friends and more about his family’s Jobs and life. Then after the Elevens turned  twelve you only really hear about Jonas and The giver and some times a little about his family. You also hear a lot about the baby that Jonas dad is taking care of Gabriel. I mean there is a lot of information in the book about Jonas but I feel I would have like to hear how his friends turned out. Now a little spoiler at the end when Jonas runs away with Gabriel you don’t find out we’re the ended up if his family and friends cared if they had a new Giver you just find out they ran away and sort of find out we’re they went. I feel like the endi...
